Shared Education

Springfield Primary School are working in partnership with Bunscoil An tSléibhe Dhuibh. We have enjoyed trips together this year and learning about mental health & well-being. We have also worked together on curriculum lessons such as Numeracy and Art. The children have overcome anxiety around meeting new people and have learned how to introduce themselves to new people, find things they have in common and build a meaningful friendships. One of our most memorable experiences was painting the Belfast Skyline with Artist Sinead McDermott. This lesson emphasized the proximity of the children and their daily lives, with a shared love for their home town!
